Dr. Luise Pufahl


Dr. Luise Pufahl is a postdoctoral researcher in the Software and Business Engineering group at TU Berlin, Germany. Her current research interests are flexible business processes, process analysis and improvement, and resource management in business processes based on operations research, simulation and machine learning techniques. Application domains are mainly health care and logistics. Her research is driven by the design science methodology with developing artifacts evaluated by different methods in context. Her publication record includes more than 30 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, conferences and workshops. Luise has been a program committee member at international conferences (e.g., BPM, BIS, CAiSE Forum). She has given lectures on Business Process Management, Process Mining, Event Processing, Conceptual Modeling etc. Luise Pufahl was formerly at the Hasso Plattner Institute of the University of Potsdam, Germany, where she supported the first MOOC on BPM in 2013.
